The prominent Zurich graphic designer Otto Baumberger created his first posters in 1911, but his most intensive creative period as a poster designer was during the 1920s and 1930s. He designed far more than 200 posters, which brought him great national and international recognition and made him one of the most influential poster designers of the interwar period. This beautiful stone lithograph for the Zurich aviation meeting of 1932 is especially remarkable due to the simplicity of its design. A true rarity for any poster enthusiast.
