Annotation: This work is a study for the King Figure of the bronze "Maquette for King and Queen" executed the same year (see.: Alan Bowness (ed.), Henry Moore, Sculpture and Drawings 1949 - 1954, London, 1965, Vol. 2, no. 348).
The big bronze "King and Queen" was casted in 1952 - 53 in an edition of 6 copies.
