After training for four years as a graphic designer, Willy Trapp studied at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts and was subsequently hired by the Wolfensberger Lithographic Institute. In 1954 he started working as a freelance graphic designer, mainly for banks and tourism. He designed this rare poster for the 1935 ice-hockey world championship in Davos.
