The Basel poster designer Peter Birkhäuser is considered one of the masters of the Swiss object poster. In order to advertise the quality of Swiss beer, Birkhäuser created two posters, one with a green-gloved hand and the other with a red-gloved hand. The brilliant colours and the rich texture of the airbrush technique used for the design give this 1950s poster a unique and realistic effect.
