The Basel designer Niklaus Stoecklin, known for his hyper-realistic style, created two particularly outstanding object posters in the 1940s, one for Bi-Oro sun cream and the other for Binaca toothpaste (lot 2121). They are two highlights among Swiss object posters. Stoecklin always boiled his designs down to the essential message, focusing on the product and the logo. A rarity.
