In spring, the meadows above Montreux and Vevey are resplendent with blooming narcissus. The two original posters on offer announcing the “Fête des narcisses” feature the splendid colours of this lovely flower.
This design from 1928 was created by the Swiss painter Jules Courvoisier and, just like the German-language poster by an anonymous artist from 1933 (lot 2148),
is a rare colour lithograph.
