The Stop-Fire company produced fire extinguishers for automobiles. In order to advertise the efficacy and power of the small fire extinguisher, Loupot used a familiar object, an oversized candle snuffer. The female figure in green creates a striking contrast to the orange of the fire extinguisher and the flames.
This poster lithograph is Loupot’s first design for Stop-Fire from 1925.
