The Bernese artist Kurt Wirth designed a clearly structured poster for Swissair’s new “metropolitan” aircraft. The design focuses on the prominent red stripe that ran the length of the aircraft and became the distinctive feature of Swissair planes besides the Swiss cross on the tail fin.
