Ludwig Hohlwein’s first posters from 1906 already made him Germany’s most famous poster artist. His early, geometrical style in object posters had an influence on the development of poster art in Switzerland. He developed a unique and highly recognisable style, which also characterises this rare 1914 design for the renowned PKZ clothing brand.
