The project "Nagelhaus" was the winning project of the competition by the city of Zurich for the redevelopment of the Escher-Wyss-Square. Thomas Demand and the London Architect 's office Caruso St. John had suggested to construct a residential house, similar to the project which protects their owners in the Chinese metropole Chongqing of a revolutionary city development.
