At the 2001 Venice Biennale, Harald Szeemann exhibited selected works by Arnold Odermatt, who worked as an accident photographer for the Nidwalden cantonal police until 1990, under the title ‘Karambolagen’. The photograph ‘Stansstad’ was part of this exhibition.
