The collection of 117 "Sacred (healing) waters" follows a series of collections, which began in 1961 with the "Optique moderne" eyewear collection, and which always focus on a specific interest of the artist.
Together with Marie-Louise von Plessen, Daniel Spoerri travelled through Brittany in search of springs and fountains. The collection of well water began in Besné in July 1972 and was followed by four more trips over the next few years.
With it: Book. Healing rituals at Breton springs. Signed and numbered in the colophon. (2).
